Hydraulic pedal upgrade

Hydraulic Feedback Pedal Assembly Here at Motorsport Simulators, LLC we are committed to engineering and building some of the most realistic race car simulators in the world. One thing that makes them so special is our Patent Pending Hydraulic pedal assembly upgrade for any customer which has a mechnical pedal set. Due to this amazing design, you will have the ultimate experience in simulated racing and know what it means to have true realism when it comes to driving a race car! They are so realistic that you may find it hard to remember that you are using a simulator.

The programmable rate and pressure settings of this hydraulic pedal allows for configuration to match your race car experience. What this means for you is that, you do not have to get use to the feel of a simulator. Instead, it’s just like the real thing so you are truly getting a unique and realistic experience each time you use the simulator. The clutch, brake and throttle all have separate configurations to add to their realism and pressures are adjustable from 100 PSI to 2200 PSI.

Braking systems go through several changes during the stress of racing there are three major areas which effect braking efficiency and the pedal feel. One condition that occurs is hydraulic fluid boil. This is where your fluid actually boils and creates air bubbles; the net effect is a soft or spongy pedal. Another condition is where your rotors/pads reach an upper temperature where they begin to lose their efficiency due to excessive heat. In this condition your pedal is or may still firm but you do not have the stopping power you did previously in ideal operating temperature. Of course, there is one more condition when your brakes are cold or under the minimum operating temperature and efficiency is not at its maximum. This is more pronounced for carbon braking systems.

This latest design incorporates dynamic pedal effectiveness based on run time braking conditions. If your brakes are cold or if you over heat your brakes you will feel the degraded braking efficiency. Like the real work, if you ease off your pedals the brakes will come back to normal operating condition over time. This feedback is programmable and tunable to your liking. We have also increased the caliper piston size to add more natural pedal play which many drivers seem to prefer.
