Announcing Python II professional GT Style trainer

The latest model of our Python simulator is now ready for customer orders. We listen to our customers (drivers) and incorporate features and changes that are communicated to us. The Python II is nothing short of intense!

The first change is the upgraded displays to Triple 58" plasma displays. The viewing image is astounding as it wraps your vision from both sides. You feel completely immersed in the track, this is truly breathtaking. Our new design now has a solid mount for the three displays to handle any imperfections of ground level issues. You will now have a nice alignment of your outer displays.

The motion system design is another upgrade which now incorporates 8" of travel per axis. The motor controller design changes allow for much faster control over acceleration and velocity on each of the three axis (roll, pitch and yaw). With the added stoke length.

The computer system has been upgraded using the new i7 Quad core processor. We now also incorporate solid-state disks in a RAID configuration so no more drive failures. Performance is outstanding; our frame rate is 200+ making the viewing experience impressive. The use of 64bit Windows XP Pro is now standard.

Announcing Python a new professional GT Style simulator

It has been many months in development and now we have our latest simulator ready for customers. This new simulator is called Python and is the most advanced GT Style simulator available in the market today.

Our first generation simulator called Venom is very good using a simple 2-axis seat based motion system. The Python on the other hand provides a complete suspended chassis on a proprietary 3-axis motion design that provides Roll, Yaw and Pitch in a controlled programmable system that meets the demands of professionals.

Just imagine - You get in your race car, strap yourself in the Sparco Racing Seat and get comfortable with your hydraulic race pedals and MOMO forced feedback steering wheel making adjustments as necessary. You look up and realize you are completely enclosed with triple 50" professional plasma displays that wrap your forward vision with nothing but race track. Once you turn the ignition on and press the starter button your race car starts and you begin to roll on track. You can't believe it; you believe you are driving your real race car. Announcing Release of a new Stockcar 3D simulation model

Motorsport Simulators is pleased to announce the addition of a new Stockcar simulation model designed specifically for our Venom simulator. "Our commitment to deliver superb tools for American racing required us to react and design a late model stockcar design", said Mark Nixon president of Motorsport Simulators. The new Stockcar race car model will be included for all customers who purchase our simulators just as we include all of our other custom designed Car and Track Models.

How can we build such realistic car and track models? Two reasons, one we are racers ourselves with years of experience and two we work with racers from several various forms of racing to perfect our designs. Some of our customers race in various series such as NASCAR, ChampCar, Toyota Atlantic, A1GP, Pro Mazda, Indy, World Challenge just to name a few.

The Stockcar simulation model was designed from the ground up. It uses the full extent of computer processing power that is provided by the Quad-Core extreme Venom computer system to produce what feels like a real race car.

Announcing development of Professional Simulation Software called ‘PRISM’

PRISM – Professional, Racers, Interactive, Simulation, Model

Motorsport Simulators has begun development of its own physics engine software called “PRISM” to address the demands and expectations of professional racers. Today, Motorsport Simulators utilizes commercial physics software which is very good but has limitations for professional use. What are the goals of PRISM software? Simply provide a rich realistic driving experience that couples the needs of team engineering.

Technology has reached a point where simulators coupled with the right software are instruments not a game. We foresee in the not-too-distant future where drivers will be required to have simulators to be competitive or to maintain their competitive edge. Look at Lewis Hamilton, a Formula1 young talented driver who uses simulators and has shown how they can make a difference. Today’s simulation software provides drivers many advantages such as memory mapping tracks and to find the tracks natural rhythm. Tomorrow’s simulation software such as PRISM will transform simulators into instruments by providing many advance or refined features such as; detailed car & track modeling, superior physics, photo realistic rendering, protected setups to name just a few. It will also contribute to drivers conditioning such as race scenarios exercises, unplanned mechanical events and so on.

“PRISM will be provided as an option for anyone who currently owns one of our simulators or purchases one of our new simulators; however, it will not be sold separately said Mark Nixon, President of Motorsport Simulators.”

While our own racing and engineering experience will be used to establish product direction, Motorsport Simulators will be forming a Customer Council comprising of team engineers, team owners and of course drivers. This customer council will help guide features and functionality of PRISM. Announcing the IRL IndyCar simulation model for use with our latest open wheel trainer called ‘Striker’

Motorsport Simulators is pleased to announce the addition of the IRL Dallara race car simulation model designed specifically for the 'Striker', a formula open wheel trainer. It has been one year in development and now we have our latest simulator ready for customers. This new simulator is called Striker and is the most advanced open wheel simulator on the market today.

North American and UK based companies iDT Simulations and Motorsport Simulators have joined forces with Creation Autosportif as a strategic partner.
